Early 18th Century Pine Dresser with Pot Board

A beautiful early 18th century Georgian pine dresser with a lovely colour and patina, this is in two pieces with the plate shelves above and a base with drawers and a pot board. It will look fabulous in a country kitchen and remains sturdy and useful after 300 years. - Shelves at the top have lips at the front to hold crockery in place, with a further retaining border underneath the lowest shelf. - Top shelf overhangs the lower two. - 3 drawers with brass knobs. - Panelled back and sides to the drawer box, with slatted sides to the pot board. - Shaped front legs and centre support, the latter with cutout shape. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. The retaining lip at the edge of the lowest shelf has worn down in places over time. As expected for a piece of this age, there are some signs of old woodworm, which have been polished out on the top of the dresser.
