Description
Early Victorian silver pill or snuff box, with a plain oval design, and a reddish-brown banded agate mounted hinged lid.
Hallmarked in London, 1840, with the makers mark G F P for George Frederick Pinnell, and the Victoria duty mark.

It measures 52mm wide by 38mm deep (44mm inc. hinge and thumb tab) by 16mm high. The silver weight is unavailable, but has a total item weight of 33g.
